Great cosy hostel with clean and spacious dorms. AC was a bit too chilly but better than being too hot! Friendly and helpful staff, especially Sarah at reception. the kitchen was a good size but would have been better with more storage space. a great value hostel.

The friendly and cute staff made me feel right at home. The location, just a short distance from the beach, was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Plus, the free shuttle service to and from the local bus stop was convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and I found the free shuttle to Woolworths very helpful. Despite the weak wifi signal in the room, I was able to stay connected thanks to the provided power points. I had a fantastic stay at Mission Beach Retreat and would highly recommend it to others looking for a chilled out vacation.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The owner Richard was so friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was perfect, just a minute walk to the beach and right in the center of town. The hostel was very clean and spacious, with great facilities. The free shuttle buses to and from the bus stop were a bonus. the staff were fantastic and made me feel welcome.

I was warmly welcomed by Richard upon arrival and the hostel felt spacious and clean throughout. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. The hostel even had a lovely pool, perfect for a dip during stinger season. The staff, including Mark, were incredibly helpful, organizing shuttles to the bus stop and making sure everything was organized. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I had a fantastic time at Mission Beach Retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave great advice on local activities. The hostel provides free shuttles to the Greyhound stop and supermarket, which was a huge convenience. There were power points near every bed and blankets provided. The kitchen, although sometimes dirty, was regularly cleaned. I met amazing people and the manager, Ozzy, created a welcoming and family-like atmosphere. I highly recommend this hostel for its great location, free shuttle, and friendly staff.

The cleanliness of the rooms. Extra sheets were simply tossed onto the bed, and we found sand on the bunks and floor when we checked in.
